Oktoberfest returns, plus other events

Whether you’re a fan of German beer or a lover of the zoo, there’s lots to celebrate this weekend. 

Oktoberfest Zinzinnati 

Date: Through Sept. 20 
Time: F 11 a.m.-11 p.m., Sa 10 a.m.-11 p.m., Su 10 a.m.-7 p.m. 
Location: Sawyer Point & Yeatman’s Cove, Cincinnati 

The country’s largest Oktoberfest is back for another year! Expect even more entertainment this year, as well as lots of authentic German food, beer and music.  

Zoofari Knights: An Evening of Tales and Scales 

Date: Sept. 18 
Time: 7-11 p.m. 
Location: Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden, Avondale 

Tickets are still available for the Cincinnati Zoo’s annual Zoofari fundraiser. The evening will include a cocktail hour, food samples, exclusive animal experiences and more. 

City Flea 

Date: Sept. 19 
Time: 11 a.m.-4 p.m. 
Location: Washington Park, Over-the-Rhine 

Meet with dozens of vendors at the month’s City Flea. You’ll find everything from vintage items to handmade crafts.
