Festival of Ferns at Krohn Conservatory
Krohn Conservatory’s annual holiday show returns with a focus on ferns this year. The Festival of Ferns, as it is called, transforms the conservatory into a green winter escape, complete with foliage, model trains and botanical recreations of local landmarks. Running daily through early January, Festival of Ferns is an ideal escape from the cold temperatures outdoors.

Fifth Annual Pride Winter Market
Washington Park hosts one of the season’s more inclusive events: the Pride Winter Market. Now in its fifth year, the market brings together LGBTQ+ creators, vendors and entertainers in Over-the-Rhine. While smaller and more community-driven than other holiday markets around the city, it offers shoppers a chance to support local makers and discover unique, handmade gifts.

Light Up the Levee
Across the river in Newport, Light Up the Levee kicks off the season with light displays, family-friendly activities and a festive countdown. Set along a backdrop of the Ohio River, Light Up the Levee offers one of the more scenic options for Christmas light viewing.

Servatii Cincinnati Christkindlmarkt
For those looking for some old-world charm, the Servatii Cincinnati Christkindlmarkt at Moerlein Lager House delivers a classic European-style holiday market experience.
