The three-day festival will offer tacos, drinks and live music

Rockin’ Taco Fest will rock its way back into the Covington Plaza this weekend.

From June 23-25, visitors can enjoy an assortment of handcrafted tacos, tasty frozen margaritas and craft beer while listening to live music from local bands.

David Wertheim, longtime event manager for ColdIron Enterprises, says admission is free and attendees can purchase food and drinks throughout all three days of the festival.

Wertheim hopes everyone in the area can get a chance to experience the Rockin’ Taco Fest, as the handcrafted tacos are one of a kind.

With over a dozen food and drink venders coming for the festival bringing an array of different things to experience, it might be worth going all three days just to experience it all.

Wertheim says some of his favorite tacos from years past have been the Chicken Tinga Taco from Mazunte, the Shark Taco from Big Bamboo’s Caribbean Grill and the Goetta Taco from Glier’s.

“We are extremely excited to be back at Covington Plaza for Rockin’ Taco Fest 2023,” Wertheim says. “We have secured the area’s best vendors, entertainment and activations and are excited to put on a great event in Covington. Rockin’ Taco Fest will be a great taste of flavor for the community!”
