Finding Your Purpose

 Finding Your Purpose

This counseling group wants to help you and your family find the right path

Christin Mcilwain and Marielle Newton want to change the way people see the importance of taking care of their mental health. That’s why they founded Purposeful Path.

“Purposeful Path Counseling is a group therapy practice that provides counseling services for children, adults and couples,” explains Mcilwain, MEd, LPC. “Whether finding a purposeful path within yourself, your relationship, for your child or for your parenting, we are here to support, encourage and walk with you each step of the way.”

Mcilwain and her business partner Newton know that therapy comes in many different forms, and they want to offer that to others. “We want to support all people, at any stage of life and support the whole family,” she adds.

Founded in May 2024, Purposeful Path Counseling is in Blue Ash and offers individual, play, couples therapy and family therapy.

Mcilwain said that when clients visit Purposeful Path Counseling, they’ll find a setting that offers a collaborative approach from providers. The goal is to support you and your family as a whole, and they want to help you be a part of the counseling process.

Purposeful Path Counseling only has a few months of service under its belt, but it’s already looking to expand. The space is currently open to Cincy Postpartum in an effort to support new mothers and their babies.

Additionally, the goal is to help more groups in the coming year.

You can find Purposeful Path Counseling at 4243 Hunt Road, Suite 206, in Blue Ash.
