Take your mind off politics with some fun, relaxing activities and events

For some, the stress of Election Day and today’s political environment can be overwhelming. Try attending one of a number of relaxing events happening tonight to take your mind off of the election.

Attend a show at Playhouse in the Park, 7:30 p.m.
Playhouse in the Park will offer two first-run plays from Cincinnati playwrights on election evening. “The West End,” by Keith Josef Adkins, tells the story of a woman named Grace living in Cincinnati in the 1940s against the backdrop of the Great Migration and World War II. Also at Playhouse in the Park is “Need Your Love,” by KJ Sanchez, which tells the story of King Records star Little Willie John.

Steve Schmidt Organ Trio with Mandy Gaines, 7 p.m.
Caffeè Vivace in Walnut Hills with host Cincinnati native Steve Schmidt and his organ trio as they join Mandy Gaines for an evening full of jazz classics.

Celebrate Día de los Muertos at Pinot’s Palette, 6 p.m.
Those looking to celebrate Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, can check out Pinot’s Palette in West Chester. This evening, attendees can learn how to mix paints and create their own Señor Don Gato. As they paint, attendees can sip on wine, beer and other beverages from the studio’s bar.

Drop-in Tai Chi, 5 p.m.
The Cincinnati Public Library in Madisonville will host its weekly Drop-in Tai Chi this evening for those looking to de-stress through physical activity.
