Maggie and Amber are best friends who also happen to be photographers. They’ve been taking photos in the Greater Cincinnati area for over 12 years as Kindred Light Studios, specializing in events and couples.
However, in photographing weddings often, the duo saw something missing. “Our customers needed entertainment during their wedding receptions and there weren’t too many options for them to choose from,” says Maggie. “So, in June 2023, we purchased our photobooth and having been having so much fun ever since.”

As for the name “Disco Pop,” the duo said they’ve always been inspired by the 70s and its music and culture. “Incorporating ‘Disco’ into our photobooth name was essential,” adds Amber.
