Local communities are hosting free holiday celebrations this month 

The Tristate is filled with holiday activities and events, but if you’re looking for something closer to home, try one of these upcoming community celebrations. In addition to being a great opportunity to reconnect with your neighbors, these events are free and full of holiday cheer! 

Blue Ash 

Family Holiday Bash 
Dec. 11, 2-5 p.m. 
Matthew 25: Ministries, 11060 Kenwood Road, Blue Ash 

Matthew 25: Ministries transforms its facility into a Christmas Wonderland for the holidays. The event will include crafts, games, characters, Santa and more. The event is free, but the nonprofit is encouraging attendees to donate to A Kid’s Again, a nonprofit that works with children with life-threatening diseases and their families, at the event. 

Hamilton 

Holly Jolly Hamilton 
Through Jan. 1 

The city of Hamilton is hosting a variety of events in December throughout the city. Daily activities include Santa’s Reindeer Games and visiting Santa’s House. Check the online schedule to see what other events are happening. 

Illuminate Hamilton 
Dec. 10 
Downtown Hamilton 

Luminaries will cover downtown Hamilton and a laser light show will be projected on the county courthouse during this event. There will also be fake snow, live music and more. 

Loveland 

Christmas in Loveland 
Dec. 17, 4-8 p.m. 
Historic Downtown Loveland 

Take a ride on a carriage, train or even a trolley during Christmas in Loveland. The evening will also feature live entertainment, complimentary tastings, crafts and holiday beverages. 

Sharonville 

Christmas on the Loop 
Dec. 10, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. 
Behind Cliff Hardware, 11115 Reading Road, Sharonville 

This daytime event promises to be lots of fun for the family, with horse-drawn carriage rides, a scavenger hunt, face painting and more.  

Wyoming 

Holiday Celebration & Light Up Wyoming 
Dec. 10, 6-8 p.m. 
Wyoming Avenue and Village Green 

Meet with Santa, see a live reindeer display, enjoy holiday shopping and holiday music, watch an ice carver work and more during this community event.
