Rhinegeist debuts new hard beverage line

Rhinegeist Brewery is joining other local craft brewers such as Braxton Brewing Co. and March First Brewing in embracing the popularity of hard seltzers and similar beverages.

The brewery launched a new line called Rhinegeist Beverages, or RGBevs, that features hard craft beverages. The new line brings together some Rhinegeist favorites, such as Bubbles, with new drinks suck as Lemmy Nade, the brewery’s first hard lemonade.

To celebrate the new line, Rhinegeist is hosting a special event tonight and this weekend, RGBevs Bev Bash. The brewery has installed what it’s calling “installations” throughout the main taproom in Over-the-Rhine. Those who visit this weekend can stop by each station to play games, learn about the beverages and take some unique selfies. The event is free to those who visit Rhinegeist.

Attendees will also get a chance to try the beverages that are part of the line:
· Bubbles, a blend of peach, apple and cranberry.
· Lemmy Nade, a hard lemonade.
· Zango Crush, a blend of mango and blood orange.

Coming soon is Geist Tea, a hard craft tea, and Wowie Colada, a mix of pineapple and passion fruit.
