Pumpkin season is upon us
The pumpkin is one of the most recognizable symbols of fall and Halloween. Celebrate the changing of seasons with the many pumpkin-oriented activities in Cincinnati.
It’s The Great Pumpkin Time! Glassblowing Class
Date: Through Nov. 29

Location: Neusole Glassworks, Forest Park
Many fall lovers enjoy the endless opportunities to decorate for the season.euuesole Glassworks is allowing guests to customize this particular traditional fall decoration in its pumpkin-blowing sessions. Guests will create their own decorative pumpkin from molten glass. Sessions are $55 at the time of scheduling and last 30 minutes per person. Participants 5 years and older are welcome.
Underwater Pumpkin Glow

Location: Newport Aquarium, Newport, Kentucky
Newport Aquarium is celebrating the changing of seasons with a fall-themed transformation. Guests can enjoy large glowing pumpkin sculptures, view underwater jack-o’-lanterns and seasonal animal enrichment. This year, the aquarium has added three new sculptures.
Yayoi Kusama: All the Eternal Love I Have for the Pumpkins

Location: Cincinnati Art Museum, Eden Park
Share a love for pumpkins with artist Yayoi Kusama at the Cincinnati Art Museum. This immersive exhibit displays an array of painted pumpkin accompanied by mirrors to enhance the themes of repetition. This touring exhibition remains at the Cincinnati Art Museum for only a couple more weeks.
Jack O’Lantern Glow
Date: Through Oct. 31, closed Oct. 5, 12 & 19
Time: Tu-W 5:30-9 p.m., Th-Su 5:30-10 p.m.
Location: Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, Avondale
The Cincinnati Zoo’s Jack O’Lantern Glow returns for its third year. This immersive experience has visitors walk by and view more than 6,000 hand-carved pumpkins. This is an evening event and requires a separate ticket.
