The region’s newest mural can be found at Cincinnati Public Radio
Cincinnati is welcoming another new mural this Friday, with this mural celebrating the work of young artists in transforming public spaces through creativity, collaboration and civic expression.
Called “With Voices Raises, WE RESIST!,” the mural is located at headquarters of Cincinnati Public Radio. It was designed by Cincinnati artist Ciara LeRoy, who is known for her vibrant, text-based artwork, and was created through the work of 10 youth apprentices and two teaching artists.

1001 Colors (the organization formerly called ArtWorks) and Cincinnati Public Radio will be hosting a dedication of the new mural Friday, Sept, 11, at 4:30 p.m. It will be followed by art auction and exhibition. The exhibition is will feature 65 artworks by 53 artists and explores the themes of free expression, dialogue, identity and the power of voice through a variety of mediums.
The dedication starts at 4:30 p.m. at Cincinnati Public Radio, 2117 Dana Ave. The Red Door: Freedom Speech art auction and exhibition follows at 5:30 p.m. and ends at 7 p.m.
