Families looking for ways to kick off summer can choose from festivals, educational programs and more throughout the Tristate this weekend. Here are five events happening across Ohio and Northern Kentucky. 

National Underground Railroad Freedom Center Juneteenth Jubilee 
Date: June 19 
Time: 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. 
Location: National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, 50 E. Freedom Way, Cincinnati 

The museum will offer free admission and a party in observance of Juneteenth. Visitors can enjoy exhibits, live music, food trucks and a community market featuring Black-owned businesses. 

Taste of Silverton 
Date: June 20 
Time: 5-10:30 p.m. 
Location: Silverton 

Silverton’s annual street festival features live music and lots of local food and drinks. 

Cincinnati Juneteenth Festival 
Date: June 20-21 
Time: Sa noon-9 p.m., Su 2:30-6 p.m. 
Location: Eden Park, Cincinnati 

The annual celebration includes a parade of flags, live entertainment, food vendors, educational exhibits and activities for children. 

St. Therese Parish Summer Festival 
Date: June 19-20 
Time: 6-11 p.m. both nights 
Location: St. Therese Parish and School, 2516 Alexandria Pike, Southgate, Kentucky 

Northern Kentucky families can enjoy rides, food, games and community activities during the annual parish festival. The event offers a traditional summer festival atmosphere for all ages.

Time: 10 a.m-1 p.m. 
Location: MadTree Oakley Taproom, 3301 Madison Road, Oakley 

Celebrate Father’s Day with coffee, beer, brunch and a parking lot full of vintage and exotic cars.
