Are you still trying to figure out your plans for this year’s Thanksgiving? Thanks to rising cases of COVID-19 throughout the country, many of us have had to cancel our usual plans, leaving the Thanksgiving meal itself up in the air. If you’re a procrastinator who still doesn’t know what you’re eating this Thursday, local restaurants have you covered. Many are offering meal kits and take-out dinners that you can still pre-order today, while others are keeping their doors open on Thanksgiving Day. We recommend preordering your meal or reserving your table today to ensure you’re ready to dine Thursday.
deSha’s
deSha’s in Montgomery will have a Prix Fixe dine option the day of Thanksgiving. Those who choose to dine in have their choice of three appetizers, four entrees and four desserts. Options include roasted turkey and gravy, grilled salmon and New York-style cheesecake.
Hart & Cru
For those who prefer to celebrate with an adult beverage, local online wine store Hart & Cru is selling curated wine sets specially created for the holiday.
Keystone Bar & Grill
Diners can pick up carryout orders tomorrow from Keystone Bar & Grill’s locations in Clifton, Covington and Hyde Park. The menu includes slow-roasted turkey with gravy, macaroni and cheese, garlic mashed potatoes, roasted creamed corn, cranberry sauce and iced cookies from Busken Bakery. All meals include easy reheating instructions.
Lucius Q
Pendleton’s Lucius Q is offering a nontraditional carryout option for those who’d rather eat barbecue. Diners can preorder smoked turkey breasts, corn bread stuffing, queso corn, cheddar corn muffins and banana pudding for a relaxed Thanksgiving meal.
The National Exemplar
In Mariemont, The National Exemplar will be open noon to 6 p.m. Those who choose to dine there will have their choice of starter, main entrée and dessert from the restaurant’s special Thanksgiving menu. While traditional items like roasted turkey breast and pumpkin pie are being offered, those wanting something different can enjoy prime rib or a fall vegetable risotto instead.
Prime Cincinnati
Prime Cincinnati downtown will be open Thanksgiving Day from noon to 7 p.m. and is still taking carryout orders. Those ordering carryout can choose either a two-person or a four-person package. Whether you’re dining in or eating at home, you’ll be able to enjoy turkey and ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, sausage stuffing, a Brussels sprouts casserole, cranberry sauce and your choice of pie.
Other restaurants that will be open on Thanksgiving include Metropole at the 21c Museum Hotel, Ruth’s Chris Steak House and Buca di Beppo.
