Cincinnati has festivals all weekend on both sides of the river

Those looking to get out of the house this weekend will find plenty of events to entertain the whole family.

Brink Makers Mart 2026 and College Hill Indie Festival

Time: 10 a.m.-10 p.m.
Location: College Hill

Join College Hill in this unique combination of its two biggest Festivals: Brinks Markers Mart and the College Hill Indie Festival. Festivalgoers can browse over 40 artisan vendors selling handmade goods, art and customized apparel while enjoying a drink of their choice in the designated DORA areas. Local bands Horsesitter, Fluster and Aaron Thomas will be playing throughout the day, with headlining act Discount Llama playing 8-10 p.m.

Fall Native Plant Festival

Date: Sept 12
Time: 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Location: Civic Garden Center, Cincinnati

Beginners, experts and everyone in between are welcome to join the Civic Garden Center in its annual celebration of native plants at the Fall Native Plants Festival. Festival-goers can buy plants, seeds and crafts. Guests will also be able to converse with vendors, receive expert gardening advice and attend free mini educational sessions. Plant sitters will be available to watch purchases while guests enjoy the festival. Live music and food will also be available during the festival.

Heart of Country Music Festival

Date: Sept 11-12
Time: F 5-11 p.m., Sa 3:50-11 p.m.
Location: Kenton County Fairgrounds, Independence, KY

Northern Kentucky’s fast-growing Heart of Country Music Festival will take over the Kenton County Fairgrounds this weekend. This festival features a combination of country favorites and rising hometown stars. Listen to the sounds of artists like Clint Black, Justin Moore, Carly Pearce, Jo Dee Messina, Little Texas and Shenandoah. Festivalgoers are encouraged to explore brand experiences, curated activities and a vendor market featuring band merchandise.
