Celebrate Memoria Day weekend with one of the Tristate’s many events

There is no shortage of events happening this Memorial Day weekend. In addition to the many ceremonies and parades honoring those who have served our country, there are festivals, parties and waterpark fun. 

Spark in the Park 

May 23

Get out on the water at night with your fellow boaters during Spark in the Park. All boats will be decorated with glowing lights and the Cincinnati Astronomical Society will be on hand to help visitors view the stars. 

Taste of Cincinnati 

May 22-25 

Taste of Cincinnati returns to downtown to celebrate the best food the Tristate has to offer. This year is promising to be bigger than ever, with more than 100 drink and food vendors. Local and national bands will also be playing, including Gym Class Heroes, Naked Karate Girls and Soul Pocket.  

Alexandria Brewing Company’s Eighth Anniversary 

May 23  

The Alexandria Brewing Company is celebrating turning eight in style with an anniversary party. ABC will be launching a new IPA, bringing back a couple of old favorites and hosting several live music acts. 

Vintage Flea 

May 23 

ArtisanFest513’s Vintage Flea takes over Washington Park on Saturday. Local artisans, makers and creatives will be selling their wares in a vibrant open-air shopping experience in the heart of the city.  

Soak City Opening Weekend 

May 23-24 

Kings Island’s Soak City opens to the public over the weekend. The waterpark is home to more than 50 water activities, including 36 water slides. Admission is included with a ticket to Kings Island.
