This busy July weekend offers ways to explore art and culture  

With warm weather and blue skies gracing the Tristate, it is time to get outside and get involved with the many community and cultural events happening this weekend. From an R&B music concert to a lavender festival, July promises unforgettable celebrations for everyone to enjoy.  

Friday Flow Presented by P&G 

Date: July 10  

Time: DJ starts at 6 p.m., House Band starts at 7:30 p.m., Headliner starts at 9 p.m. 

Location: Washington Park, Cincinnati  

Friday Flow showcases R&B talent at its concert series every Friday night free for all attendees. On July 10, Q Parker will bring his sound to Washington Park before embarking on his road to the Cincinnati Music Festival.  

Molly Malone’s Irish Pub & Restaurant 2026 FIFA World Cup Watch Party 

Date: July 10  

Time: 3 p.m.  

Location: Molly Malone’s Irish Pub & Restaurant, Covington, KY 

Molly Malone’s Irish Pub & Restaurant welcomes World Cup fans to watch every game on its big screens and enjoy the spirit of the game. It welcomes fans to grab a drink and food and embrace their Irish hospitality. On July 10, it will show a live quarterfinal match at 3 p.m. between Spain and Belgium.  

Kenyan and African Cultural Festival 

Date: July 11 

Time: 12-6 p.m. 

Location: Kennedy Heights Arts Center, Cincinnati  

The Kennedy Heights Arts Center invites the community to a free event to experience the traditions of Kenya beyond the artwork. The festival will include music, food, dance, poetry and art. It will also showcase a gallery featuring 154 prints from 42 different Kenyan artists titled “Printed Voices From Kenya.”  

In Full Bloom Lavender Festival  

Date: July 11-12 

Time: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.  

Location: White Barn and Blooms Lavender Farm, Hamilton, Ohio  

White Barn and Blooms hosts its grand opening weekend on its lavender farm July 11-12. One day tickets are $20 and feature live music, access to lavender fields in full bloom, photographers, food trucks, curated vendors and lavender cocktails and mocktails for purchase.

Taft Museum of Art Free Admission Day  

Date: July 12 

Time: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.  

Location: Taft Museum of Art, Cincinnati  

The Taft Museum of Art offers free general admission to its galleries and special exhibitions every Sunday and Monday. One of the current exhibitions on show is “Beyond the Picturesque: The American Landscape as a Site of Memory, Identity, and Continuity,” which will run until July 26. Another exhibition is “The Scandinavian Home: Landscape and Lore,” on view until Sept. 20.
