 Immersive and Interactive Art

Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience” continues to bring immersive art to Cincinnati

If you haven’t seen it yet, there’s still time to see “Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience,” with tickets available through December . This unique exhibit gives art enthusiasts and Van Gogh fans a place to come together and enjoy the works of the artist in a new way.

“Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience” offers guests two different VR walk-through experiences featuring eight different works as well as a sit-down VR experience, “A Day in the Life of the Artist in Arles, France.” These VR experiences give guests a 360-degree look at the artist’s works and a look into the life of the artist from beginning to end.

Since its last visit, the exhibit has upgraded several features, including its immersive soundtracks and digital displays, projection mapping and interactive installation. This more interactive experience gives guests an opportunity to connect with the artist in their own words by giving them space to write a letter to Van Gogh telling him about the modern world. Guests can also explore through the exhibit’s kiosk detailing how Van Gogh painted the same subject differently across works.
