The long-running festival returns to Blue Ash’s Summit Park July 4

The city of Blue Ash is red, white and blue again this summer, as the beloved Red, White & Blue Ash festival returns to Summit Park on July 4.  

This year’s Red, White & Blue Ash will feature a variety of musical acts, including Plush, an all-female band known for their charting singles “Hate” and “Better Off Alone.” The band will take the stage at 6 p.m.  

Collective Soul will headline the festival, performing at 8:15 p.m. The band is best known for its 1990s hits “Shine” and “December,” and will be followed by the traditionally massive Arthur Rozzi Pyrotechnics fireworks show.  

“Arthur Rozzi Pyrotechnics truly puts on the best fireworks show I have ever seen with fireworks in the sky, on the ground, and shooting from the Observation Tower,” says Rachel Murray, communications coordinator for the city of Blue Ash. 

Red, White & Blue Ash is one of the largest and longest-running traditions in the tri-state area. Previous year’s festivals have attracted crowds of over 100,000 people, and Blue Ash officials have prepared the city for another year of music, fireworks and food.  

In the more than 25 years since it began, Red, White & Blue Ash has only been canceled twice—once in 2005 due to severe weather, and once in 2020 amid uncertainty over COVID-19.  

Now that the festival is back in full effect, Cincinnati-area residents can expect another July 4 full of music, food, rides and fun.
