Skyline is coming to Fountain Square 

A Cincinnati fan favorite is expanding to Fountain Square this spring.  

Last month, Skyline Chili announced through social media that they would be opening a new location in Fountain Square. “It’s official: Skyline Chili is coming to Fountain Square! Opening Spring of 2026,” the post says. The new location will be in the former March First space, between Potbelly and City Bird at The Eateries at Fifth Third Center.  

“We are excited to welcome Skyline Chili to Fountain Square,” Thomas Ross, director of corporate real estate for Fifth Third, says in a press release. “This hometown favorite will be a wonderful addition to the existing local business at The Eateries at Fifth Third Center, as we work to create a welcoming and vibrant dining experience for everyone who visits Fountain Square.” 

The restaurant will not be your average Skyline, but will feature a beer and wine bar, along with a private party room.  

“Whether it’s fans celebrating a big sports victory, families or friends connecting for entertainment programming, or convention visitors exploring the city, we want to be there for them on Fountain Square whenever the craving hits,” Dick William, Skyline Chili’s CEO, says in a press release.  

This specific location will also have a large dining room for dine-in guests and the option of carryout and delivery for those who prefer their chili to-go.  

“Fountain Square is the heartbeat of Cincinnati, and Skyline has always been about bringing people together,” Williams says. “Fountain Square is where the downtown workforce gather for lunch during the day and families and friends gather for food and entertainment at night.”
