The home decor and food store is celebrating with a grand opening celebration on July 25

You can find the newest World Market location in Rookwood Commons & Pavilion, which marks the 5th World Market location in Ohio, but the first in the Greater Cincinnati region. To celebrate the opening of a new location, World Market will host a ribbon cutting ceremony and a weekend full of special events.  

“World Market is excited to be [coming] to the greater Cincinnati area with the opening of our new store in Norwood,” Eric Hunter, CEO of World Market, says. “We believe Rookwood Commons is the perfect location for us to introduce our brand to the community. We look forward to growing our customer base here for years to come.”  

World Market is a specialty retailer known for its assortment of furniture, home decor and gifts as well as a large assortment of candy and international food from around the world as part of the store’s mission to provide a shopping environment where customers can find quality items at reasonable prices.  

Grand opening celebrations for World Market will start July 25 at 10 a.m. with a ceremonial ribbon cutting. Customers who make the first 100 transactions during the grand opening weekend will receive a free tote bag with their purchase. Additionally, food and beverage samplings and giveaways will be two of many special events throughout the weekend.  

Store hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.  

World Market is located at 2692 Madison Road in Rookwood Commons & Pavilion, next door to Sierra Trading Post and Mitchell’s Salon & Spa in the shopping center.
