Local events will get you out of the house and exploring the Queen City this fall

Whether you want to get your mind blown with an immersive art experience or are just looking to unwind with some drinks and games, Cincinnati has got you covered this fall. We found three events happening this week that are perfect for a night out of the house. 

Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience 

Step inside the mind of one of the greatest artists this world has ever seen at this unique showing of Vincent van Gogh’s works. This show runs on weekdays (excluding Tuesday) from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. until Nov. 5. Tickets are still available, and ticket prices vary based on which package you select. The visiting exhibition can be found at 18 W. Fourth St., in downtown Cincinnati. 

Donauschwaben Oktoberfest 

The country’s largest Oktoberfest may be over, but you can still celebrate German heritage, cuisine and alcohol at the Donauschwaben Oktoberfest! Guests will be able to enjoy plenty of food, imported beer and live music. The event is also family friendly, with games, a playground and other activities for kids to enjoy. Event admission is $5 per person. The festival takes place Sept. 30-Oct. 2 at the Cincinnati Donauschwaben Society, 4290 Dry Ridge Road, Cincinnati. 

Hamilton 

This is your last week to see the hit Broadway show Hamilton at the Aronoff Center. This Tony-Award-winning musical tells the story of Alexander Hamilton and his impact on the founding of our country. The show blends hip-hop, jazz, R&B and Broadway for a sound all its own. Tickets are still available in limited quantities.
