Had the shot? Feel free to take advantage of these local deals
Last week, Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine announced a vaccine lottery to encourage more Ohioans to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. But the state of Ohio isn’t the only entity that’s developing vaccination incentives—businesses are getting into the action, too. We found four companies offering free products or services right here in the Tristate. If you already received the vaccine, find a good spot in your wallet for your vaccine card so you can take advantage of these freebies and deals.
Doughnuts
Krispy Kreme Doughnuts is offering a free glazed doughnut each day for the rest of the year to those who flash their vaccine card in store or in the drive-through. Those looking to get this perk will need to show they have received one of the two shots of the Moderna or Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine or one shot of the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine.
Reds Tickets
Cincinnati Reds fans who bring their vaccine cards to Great American Ball Park for any game Monday through Thursday during regular season can purchase a view-level ticket for just $10. You must have received at least one shot. A maximum of six tickets can be bought with one vaccine card. All tickets and games are subject to availability.
Dessert
Through May 31, White Castle is offering a free dessert-on-a-stick to those who bring in their vaccine card. The restaurant’s dessert-on-a-stick options include cake, brownies and cheesecake. Diners must order in person and can only receive one dessert per vaccine card.
Casino Dollars
Vaccinated visitors to Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati can receive $5 in free play at the Wild Card Club, the casino’s player membership program. Players will need to show proof of vaccination, and the offer lasts through the end of May.
