Various paint-and-sips in the Cincinnati area offer socially distanced classes—and some even have a virtual platform that you can enjoy from the comfort of your home.
Board & Brush
The Board & Brush Creative Studio in Cincinnati lets you book your own workshop to create a beautiful DIY wood sign. Its mission is “to turn you into a DIY master.” You can choose from multiple wood signs that fit your style best and even create a private event to make it a party. While in the studio, there is alcohol for purchase, and visitors are asked to wear a mask.
Uptown Art Cincinnati
Located in Forestville, Uptown Art offers a step-by-step painting class in which you can choose among canvas, glass and wood. All supplies are provided. Beer or wine are available for purchase. If you would rather have a night in, Uptown Art offers take-home kits with step-by-step instructions. Uptown Art, 7713 Beechmont Ave., Anderson Township, says all guests and staff members will have temperatures taken upon arrival.
Queen City Clay
If you are looking to branch out from painting, Queen City Clay, 3130 Wasson Road in Oakley, is a nice spot. QCC offers beginner workshops in the studio and also virtually. You can buy pottery from the studio to take home to paint, then bring it back for the studio to fire, giving it that perfect glazed look. Queen City Clay is hosting a Valentine’s chocolate and wine event Friday through Sunday.

Enjoy an environment where you can sip, socialize and create. Painting with a Twist in Mason allows BYOB or provides take-home art kits to create masterpieces at home.
