From needlepoint and quilting to painting and model cars, there’s a local shop that caters to whatever hobby you’re looking to develop.

A World of Beads specializes in beads, rocks and design for those who’d like to make their own jewelry. At this time, only six people can be in the store at a time, and classes are currently on hold.

A Creative Reuse Center (similar to an art supply thrift store, according to the shop), sells items for a variety of hobbies, including drawing, knitting, painting, jewelry making, sewing and more. In addition to purchasing items, shoppers can also donate products to be sold there. Donations are only accepted Tuesdays and Wednesdays 12-5 p.m. and can only be done so by appointment.

Knit On offers the materials and tools needed for those looking to take up knitting, but it also sells a variety of kits. With these kits, knitters can learn to make a bag, scarf, afghan or cardigan.
