There’s no place like home for Cincy native Brent Tartar, W.A. Wilde’s senior VP of sales and marketing, who has returned home and brought direct marketing with him.

The Boston-based marketing company opened its newest branch in May as part of a strategic plan, Tartar says. This location is the first full-service facility outside New England.

“Cincinnati is a key distribution location for distributive print fulfillment,” boasts Tartar. “We can reach 70 percent of the U.S. population in a 12-hour travel time from Cincinnati.”

Wilde, a company that works with Reebok, Fidelity, Dell, banks and grocery stores, has plans, he says, to utilize the Cincinnati office as part of a national expansion strategy by supporting existing clients here and welcoming new ones as well.

In fact, many companies that already work with Wilde are excited about using the new Midwest location as a hub, Tartar says.

The Cincinnati office, located in Sharonville, offers clients a comprehensive suite of direct marketing including creative and strategy, technology solutions, data management, digital printing, direct mail and fulfillment services. Tartar says that Wilde is a “one-stop shop” for Cincinnati and Midwest businesses alike. And Cincinnati, he continues, has welcomed the marketing firm with open arms.

“Cincinnati has been a good place for us so far,” says Tartar, who also says the company has already invested $2 million into the new facility with technology and equipment.

The 16-employee office might expand as soon as this year into a larger site, says Tartar, a Princeton High School and NKU grad.
“This is a very exciting time for Wilde, as the expansion of the company to the Midwest is a major step for our business,” says Tom Wilde, CEO and president.

Turning 140 this year, Wilde operates in Holliston and Brockton, Mass., with a sales office in Portland, Ore.
