Cincy Business is a winner, and we want to thank you for your support and share the success for Greater Cincinnati.

Cincy Business magazine has been honored in the "Best Business Publication in Ohi' category by the Press Club of Cleveland in their prestigious 2005 Awards of Excellence competition. Our magazine came in second place in the state, after Crain's Cleveland Business weekly, making us your "best" business publication in the region. The two issues honored were our "Zen of Zimpher" and "Healthy, Wealthy & Wise" editions, with profiles of the University of Cincinnati's president Nancy Zimpher and Children's Hospital Medical Center's Jim Anderson on the covers.

The magazine also won two awards for its cover profile of Fifth Third Bank's George Schaefer ("The Road Builder"). That story won first place in the Press Club of Cleveland journalism contest for "Best Business Profile." And the same story won second place in the Ohio Society of Professional Journalists statewide competition for "Business Profile."

With writers such as Felix Winternitz, Laura Pulfer and Joe Wessels aboard, Cincy Business will continue to bring you the best. And with us now moving from four to six times a year we look to bring you more of what you enjoy.

We really welcome your feedback as we launch new features, to include this issue as we have added our Cincy Life Charitable Events magazine together with Cincy Business for the first time. We are also excited with the launch of the annual Cincy Entrepreneur Toolkit.

Thank you, the reader, for being a part of this success. Yes, we've got a story to tell "” it's you.
