The last Super Bowl to feature ads for cars that inspired any interest at all was 2008, after three years of a "deer in the headlights" approach to marketing their cars the manufacturers realized that building excitement happens in the advertising arena as well as the factory floor and design studios.  The contest to have the best Super Bowl advertisement has become a significant part of the fun for those of us that watch the game, even those that do not normally count themselves amongst the fans of the game tune in for the commercials.  2012 was a banner year for Super Bowl ads containing dogs, they seem to be everywhere even in the car ads, so watch for them along with a Cheetah and some talking insects!  Clint Eastwood, Matthew Broderick, Jerry Seinfeld, Jay Leno and Catrinel Menghia spiced up the 2012 offerings from the car companies too with some classic portrayals that have many of us talking.
Our intrepid editorial staff spent hours watching all the ads and compiling the offerings from the Auto manufacturers for your review and now it is time for you to goof off like we do at the office!  Vote for your favorite, we will tabulate the results and publish them in the next edition of the Cincy Motorsports Journal. Enjoy them once again.
