Holiday Luncheon

Get into the spirit of the season, network with fellow members and guests, and recognize West Chester Chamber Alliance leaders and committee chairs at the annual chamber holiday luncheon.

At the event, President & CEO Joe Hinson will recognize and thank the chamber’s 2009 committee chairs, as well as its board officers and members. Debbie Brenneman of Thompson Hine LLP will serve as emcee.

Innovation and Creativity Training

Learn how to drive innovation and business growth within your organization at a one-day, hands-on workshop presented by business solutions company Zenovate Ltd.

At the workshop, consultants will focus on how to balance the art, science and language of innovation, how to build and empower diverse collaborative project teams that deliver, and how to predict market evolution and foretell upcoming competitive threads, among other topics.

Health, Wellness & Education Showcase

The Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce celebrates school/business partnerships and educates the community on how to lead healthier lifestyles at the Health, Wellness & Education Showcase.

The event combines the annual Partners in Education Showcase and the annual Wellness Fair. This is the first year the events will be held together.

The chamber will recognize the benefits of partnerships between local businesses and schools at the Partners in Education Showcase. The program, a chamber initiative, gives students connections between their curriculum and the real world, and benefits businesses by creating better-prepared citizens and future employees.

At the Wellness Fair, health clubs and various wellness organizations will be on hand offering information and services including blood pressure screenings, BMI tests and mini massages.

The showcase, which is free to the community, will run from 10:30 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Jan. 19, at the Anderson Center in Anderson Township. Food samples from select chamber restaurants will be available.



Accelerated Networking

On Tuesday, Jan. 26, the Cincinnati chapter of the eWomenNetwork hosts a networking event featuring April Goyer, a coach, speaker, executive and entrepreneur.

During her talk, Goyer will address how to attract more clients to a business, clarly define a market and niche, overcome objections and close the sale more often.

Through her work as president of Avancez, a business and life coaching company, Goyer works with professionals to help them build rewarding businesses and approach their health as a means of becoming stronger and more successful.
