MISSION STATEMENT:  Matthew 25: Ministries serves the poorest of the poor throughout the US and around the world by providing basic necessities such as food, water, clothing, medical supplies, personal care products and cleaning products to those in desperate need. In addition, Matthew 25: Ministries helps children obtain an education by providing educational materials and encourages adults to develop marketable skills. The ultimate goal of Matthew 25: Ministries is to help develop healthy, confident, self-sustaining communities within the United States and internationally.

“Caring for a Needy World with the Things We Throw Away”: umbrella program for ongoing humanitarian aid activities. Underneath this umbrella are programs for Greater Cincinnati, Appalachia, the Military, various locations throughout the U.S. and international destinations. In 2006, M25M distributed more than 10 million pounds of products valued at almost $65 million.

“Disaster Preparedness and Relief”: program focusing on maintenance of first response disaster items, development of disaster relief implementation plan and 24/7 surveillance of natural and man-made conditions that might initiate a disaster.

“Volunteerism”: Matthew 25 does almost everything with volunteers. In 2006, M25M was the grateful recipient of more than 14,000 volunteer hours from generous and devoted individuals. Matthew 25 has several outreach programs designed to promote active participation from remote locations including “Pallet to the Poor,” “Change for Change” and “Education Shoeboxes.”

“Community Outreach”: M25M has a Speakers Bureau that actively promotes education and awareness through presentations at schools, churches, businesses and civic and fraternal organizations.

More than 99 percent of M25M’s cash and in-kind donations go toward programs. M25M meets the “Wise Giving Alliance Standards” developed by the Better Business Bureau and holds a four-star rating from Charity Navigator. For every $1 donated, M25M generates $106 in humanitarian aid.
