"Soul Survivor" Teaching Law

Thank you for writing such a great article ("The Unlikely Redemption of "¢Law Dog' Lawson" by Peter Bronson, November Cincy). Since we last spoke I got a promotion. I will be a teaching professor here at the (University of Hawaii) law school beginning next semester. I will be teaching criminal justice and professional responsibility! I was also appointed the Associate Director of the Hawaii Innocence Project.

Only God can turn my mess into a message.

Warmest Aloha,
Ken Lawson

Spine Story Presented with Accuracy and Style

I would like to congratulate Ashley Davis on her article, "Spine & Back Health," in the August Cincy. Minimally invasive spine fusion is not a simple topic, and she presented the medical technicalities of various procedures with accuracy and style.

Thanks to all for illuminating this important topic for your readers.

Best of the North 'Absolutely Fantastic'

Thank you for all your help with the Best of the North (Oct. 4). We felt the event was absolutely fantastic! And your suggestion to set up a station for make-up and hair touchups was brilliant. It brought a lot of folks to the table.

Our Best of the North Master Stylist finalist Pam Brooks and Statements in Hair are very happy. We also had a blast.
