Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP responded to what is shaping up to be the worst financial crisis in decades by assembling a 22-attorney team to help businesses navigate and survive the tumult.

The Business Recovery Solutions Team comprises senior attorneys from the firm’s various departments, including business and finance, tax and bankruptcy.

“This is a multi-faceted, complex financial crisis, so we created an integrated team of attorneys who can provide responsive, comprehensive legal advice in the broad range of areas that the market disruption has affected,” says Robert Hicks, who, together with Jeffrey Schloemer, was tapped to lead the team. Hicks and Schloemer are both partners in Taft’s business and finance department, and Hicks is partner-in-charge of Taft’s Indianapolis office. The team’s attorneys are based in Cincinnati, Dayton, Cleveland and Indianapolis.


Lisa Caldemeyer of Graydon Head & Ritchey LLP joined the board of trustees at Stepping Stones Center, a nonprofit United Way partner agency that serves close to 1,000 adults and children with disabilities each year.



Adam Pugh joined Wood, Herron & Evans LLP as an associate, working in all areas of patent application preparation and prosecution. Pugh’s technical focus is primarily in the mechanical, electrical and software areas.



Tammy Imhoff
joined Dinsmore & Shohl LLP as an associate in the Corporate Department and a member of the Securities Practice Group. Imhoff served as an attorney for the Federal Trade Commission in Washington, where she oversaw investigations of complex multimillion-dollar transactions.



Graydon Head & Ritchey named Lee Geiger a partner. Geiger is a member of the firm’s Human Services Group with focus in labor, employment, health care and education law.

Graydon Head & Ritchey hired Karen Rolcik, who will work from the Butler/Warren Counties office in the Personal Planning Industry Group. Rolcik has experience in estate planning, probate, business and tax law and counsels business owners in the formation and operation of their businesses.
