Susan Zaunbrecher, a
partner in Dinsmore & Shohl's Cincinnati office, was elected to the
board of SPCA Cincinnati. Over the course of her five-year term, her
primary responsibilities will include overseeing the management,
operations and finances of SPCA Cincinnati, including fundraising.

Behring has selected BioRx, a specialty pharmacy in Blue Ash, as one of
five companies approved to providers Berinert®. Berinert® is a
plasma-derived concentrate of C1 esterase inhibitor indicated for the
treatment of acute abdominal or facial attacks of hereditary angioedema
(HAE) in adult and adolescent patients.
In
the recently released 2010 edition of Chambers USA, Taft Stettinius
& Hollister LLP was "Top Ranked" in its Ohio labor and employment
practice, as are three attorneys firmwide. In Cincinnati, G. Jack
Donson Jr. (Litigation: Antitrust) was a top-ranked Taft attorney.
Dr.
Cady Short-Thompson was appointed dean of Raymond Walters College,
effective July 1. Dr. Short-Thompson, a lifelong Wyoming resident and
UC alumna, formerly served as chair of the Communication Department at
NKU.
First Financial Bank welcomed John Handelsman
as senior vice president and chief equipment finance officer.
Handelsman will oversee First Financial's equipment finance group,
which provides customized finance and leasing solutions to
middle-market businesses in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky and Michigan.

leaders in their practice areas in the 2010 edition of Chambers USA.

Western & Southern
Financial Group announced that Nancy L. Johnson of the Turnaround Team
for Cincinnati Public Schools has been named the 2010 Dr. Lawrence C.
Hawkins Educator of the Year. Johnson was chosen from a group of 20
finalists who were nominated by their peers and was recognized with a
plaque and personal check for $10,000 during a ceremony at Western
& Southern's Guilford Institute.
Vision
2015 announced that Tara Ford has been named manager of strategic
initiatives. Ford will be responsible for managing two of Vision 2015's
strategic directions: the urban renaissance and regional stewardship
focus areas.
