Skyline Greetings
Customers wanted an updated Cincinnati skyline
last year when Great American Tower was crowned Cincinnati's highest
building, so Hopple asked artist Grey Hall to create this pen-and-ink
and watercolor design. It can be customized into invites, greeting cards
or stationery. Pack of 10 is $18.95, or $1.95 each.
Internet aside, people still like paper,
especially brides, says Mary Hopple, owner of M. Hopple & Co. Fine
Stationery and Creative Design, now in Madeira at Kenwood Galleria. Many
of her customers tried online ordering but told her they didn't like it
because they couldn't feel the paper in their hand. "And there's no
etiquette advice," a big plus when it comes to save-the-dates and the
increasing number of pieces included in today's invites. Hopple also
sells gifts, entertainment accessories and Cincinnati-themed products.
