When it comes to chocolate assortments, they've been hand-dipping Valentine's Day chocolates for close to a century now at the Aglamesis Brothers' shop in Oakley Square.

Lisa Thatcher is one of the veteran chocolatiers. She began working at the vintage ice cream parlor and shop in 1978, at the age of 16.

What do customers want, especially as the Hallmark Holiday approaches? "Custom-made assortments, to get their partner exactly what they want," she answers. Which individual chocolates are most popular in February? "Chocolate-covered cherries and truffles."

And does Lisa love this time of year?

"Valentine's is fun, but crazy busy."
