Bengals 50: Influential People who Shaped the Franchise

In a series of videos, podcasts and photos, Paul Dehner Jr. and Jim Owczarski explore how the Bengals arrived at their 50th season.

The first installment dives into “outsiders” who shaped the Bengals, including former Gov. Jim Rhodes, who worked with Paul Brown to prepare Cincinnati and the rest of the state for a professional football team.

The second portion explains how figures within the organization have led the team through the years. Marvin Lewis, the current head coach, is credited here as the leading the Bengals through their most successful run in the team’s history.

Finally, the Enquirer looks at the offensive players responsible for some of the Bengals’ biggest triumphs, including the team’s only Hall of Famer, Anthony Munoz.
