Porsche established a presence in the Cincy automotive scene almost 60 years ago and became an instant sensation. The fascination with the high performance German machinery remains strong to this day with more Porsches being sold in the Tristate than in of any of the larger markets across Ohio.

Porsche of King’s Automall is the area’s number one Premier Porsche Dealership, a premium dealership for the Joseph Auto Group offering a full range of Porsche products, service, parts and accessories. Ohio Valley Region Porsche Club Historian Dick Weiss notes that the Porsche of King’s Automall can trace its roots to the earliest days of the brand’s presence through several locations.

The Joseph Auto Group, one of the area’s most well-respected and veteran family-operated automotive businesses began operations in 1938, 10 years before the first Porsche 356 model was introduced to the public. Porsche of King’s Automall General Manager Bill Winstel says the “hands-on” approach the Joseph family maintains, from the top down, works particularly well with the luxury/performance products and their buyers. The Josephs have assembled a team that works diligently to remain experts in the field through constant education. Brand Ambassador Michael Gerber says he learns something new about Porsches everday.

These people are very passionate about the Porsche brand.

Many Porsche shops and racers have relied on the parts department to keep them on track and at the front of the pack for many years. An experienced and veteran service staff keeps the high performance cars maintained to the latest specifications and are well trained in the procedures required to diagnose and correct any issues.

Buying a Porsche is not an impulse decision; most new owners have lusted after the cars for years before finally taking the plunge and settling behind the wheel. With a growing product line that now includes the four-door Panamera and Cayenne models, as well as the upcoming Macan, small SUV Porsche appeals to more than the sports car buyer.

Driving a Porsche is an experience that offers a variety of opportunities well beyond the transportation aspect. Recreational prospects include car shows, driving tours, track days, charity events and social gatherings. The Cincy Porsche community is active and engaged. Porsche of King’s Automall is a keystone in the foundation that supports numerous events and functions throughout the year.

The Ohio Valley Region Porsche Club of America holds a Chili Cook Off fundraiser each winter for The Children’s Tumor Foundation in the showrooms, with chili served amongst the Carreras and Caymans.

RPM, Rallye Porsches Mariemont, the signature event on the Porsche Club schedule, features Porsche of King’s Automall as an associate sponsor. Their tent was very popular at the 2013 event where the rain was heavy and pervasive all day. The Rallye Porsches Mariemont benefitted The One Way Children’s Farm and the Children’s Tumor Foundation. With the sparse crowds, the generosity of the sponsors carried the day and made this event a success for the charities.

By keeping Porsche of King’s Automall up-to-date on its brand and an integral part of the local Porsche community, the Josephs’ passion for Porsche continues to shine brightly.
